Robert P. Campbell Jr., of Newnan, formerly of Covington, died peacefully Oct. 15. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 18 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Newnan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 576 Roscoe Road, Newnan, Ga. 30263; The American Red Cross; or The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.

Eunice Remes, 87, of Covington, died Oct. 16 at Covington Manor Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Robert A. and Nancy J. Guy Abbott, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Remes was preceded in death by husband Floyd Remes.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and George Adcock of Dacula; son and daughter-in-law Dr. R.D. and Betty Remes of Covington; grandchildren Paul and Brenda Campbell, Troy and Michelle Remes, Scott and Tori Adcock; great-grandchildren Keith Remes, Katelyn Remes, Kevin Remes, Jake Adcock; sister Geraldine Foster of Harpersville, Ala.; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 18 in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Herman Goddard officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Covington Manor Nursing Home, 4148 Carroll St. SW, Covington, Ga. 30014.
