Mr. Robert Eugene Alt Jr. of Covington died Sunday, June 2. He was born in 1962 in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Alt Jr. is survived by his mother Sharon Mathis and step-father Jesse Mathis; children Candace Alt, Robert E. Alt III, Corey Alt, and daughter and son-in-law Kaley and Jacob Whatley; sisters Gail Susan Barrett, Sandra Mathis Morgan; step-sisters Linda Strickland, Robin Cofer; and granddaughter Haileigh Alt.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, June 6, at the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert L. Nash officiating. Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today, June 5.
