Mrs. Regina Charlene (Walden) George, 41, of Covington, died Tuesday, Dec. 30. She was born in Rockdale County in 1967 to John Sanford and Geraldine (Booth) Walden. She attended Calvary Community Church and was involved in various church activities. Mrs. George had a great gift for loving children and was involved in the kid’s ministry at Victory Tabernacle when she was a member there.
Mrs. George is survived by her husband Danny George of Covington; son Adam George of Covington; parents John and Geraldine Walden of Rockdale County; mother-in-law Nellie George Mewborn of Newton County; sisters Sharon Gosse of Henry County and Karen Janzen of Rockdale County; brother Sammy Walden of Newton County; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The viewing for Mrs. George will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 2, at Calvary Community Church, 120 Crowell Road, Conyers. The funeral will be Saturday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at the church.
