Reba Mae Gibson, 72, of Gainesville, formerly of Oxford, passed away September 10, 2016. She was born in Union Point to the late Herschel and Mazelle Roberts Young. Gibson worked as a sales associate for Wal-Mart for a number of years. She enjoyed sewing but more than anything she loved spending time with her family; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life.

Gibson was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Gibson in 1998 and is survived by her children: Kenny Gibson of Covington, Tim and Lisa Gibson also of Covington, Paul and Gina Gibson of Gainesville and one daughter; along with 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren four brothers, four sisters, many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
