Patricia J. Long of Covington, died July 5, 2009, at the age of 53. Mrs. Long loved her dog, enjoyed relaxing by the river banks watching the water, and listening to both country and rock and roll music. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Timothy Hunt of Covington, Kelly and Michael Carter of Social Circle, Angela and John Hunt of Covington; 9 grandchildren; parents, Leon and Sela Cherry Harper of Covington. Funeral Services for Mrs. Long will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009, 2 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 7 from 5-8 PM.
