Shakita Tawanna Wood was born March 31, 1979 in Newton County, Georgia to Mr. Bobby Terrell and Ms. Betty Wood.

Shakita was known to family and friends as Ki-Ki. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended Newton County School System, where she later graduated in 1997 with honors. Ki-ki went on to further her education at Alabama State University and Georgia State University. Ki-Ki's biggest goal in her life was to become an owner of her own business and this goal was later accomplished when she became owner of her own Insurance Agency.

Ki-Ki never met a stranger. She was very passionate about helping others no matter how extreme the circumstances were.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Joe Lewis Height, Mrs. Maggie Wood Williams and Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Dorothy) Terrell.

Shakita leaves to cherish her precious memories; her precious son, Mr. Bryan Cooper, parents, Mr. & Mrs. Edward (Betty) Smith, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Deborah) Terrell, sisters, Ms. Nietra Terrell, Ms. BaShunica Terrell and Mr. & Mrs. Thaddius (Zenia) Williams, a special and devoted friend, Mr. Eddie Cavett, godchildren, Unique Gaither and Tremelle Sanford and a host of aunts; Mr. & Mrs. Sammy (Linder) Floyd, Ms. Lisa Giles, Ms. Pamela Hardeman, Mr. & Mrs. Edward (Lydia) Williams, Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius (Diane) Lindsey, Mr. & Mrs. Rufus (Edna) Clark, Mr. & Mrs. Shaffer (Delores) Heard, Ms. Sandra Terrell (Kenneth Tinsley), Mr. & Mrs. Ellie (Renee) Brown and Ms. Judy Sawyers, uncles, Mr. Adam Williams, Mr. & Mrs. Larry Camp and a host of great aunts and uncles, three nephews, Jamir Gaither, Devyn Washington and Courtney Rothschild, special devoted cousin Tyrel Benton, special friend, Lisa Harris and a host of cousins and friends.
