Theresa Daniel of Covington, passed away April 1, 2016 at the age of 64. Mrs. Daniel was a great cook and will be remembered for the delicious cornbread she made. She enjoyed spur-of-the-moment traveling with her husband. Mrs. Daniel loved the Lord and listening to southern gospel music and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her daughter, Wetona Daniel; great-grandson, Skyler Keller; parents, Robert and Lois (Burke) Derrick; and sister, Deborah Beale.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Branson Daniel of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Samuel Keller; sons, Michael Daniel, Joseph Daniel, all of Covington; grandchildren, Sam Keller, Krystina and James Odum, Ambre McAlexander, Michael Daniel II, Branson Daniel, Josh Daniel, Chris Daniel, Conner Pruitt, Chase Pruitt, Tyler Suttles, Ashton Williams; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Johnathan, Haley, Kyleigh, Serenity, Storm, Raelynn, Ryleigh, Kayden; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Linda Derrick of Oneonta, Alabama; Noel and Jimmie Hegwood of Covington; brother-in-law, Bill Daniel, also of Covington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as life-long best friend, Pat Derrick.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Daniels will be held Monday, April 4, 2016, 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington with Pastor Chris Allen officiating and interment following in Liberty Cemetery in Porterdale. Friends may join the family for visitation Sunday, April 3, from 5–8p.m.
