Obituary
       Mrs. Ruby Lee Nolley Barr, passed away on December 12, 2013.  She was born September 9, 1942 in Henry County, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Lottie Mae) Nolley. She was raised and educated in the Jasper and Newton County area.

     Ruby gave God her hand at a very early age and loved going to church and singing in the choir. She was employed with several Laundromats and Bibb Manufacturing. Her last Job was Hardee's before retiring.

     Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William  (Bill) Barr, one grandson, Mr. Drawon Barr and three brothers, Mr. Gary Nolley, Mr. Tommy Nolley and Mr. Chuck Nolley.

    She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius (Sally Barr) Mitchell and Ms. Carla Barr Browning, son, Mr. William Barr, Jr., god daughter, Ms. Davida Tuggle, three sisters; Mrs. Peggy Nolley Allen, Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Ethel) Johnson and Ms. Priscilla Nolley, six brothers; Mr. George  M. Nolley, Mr. Clifford Nolley, Mr. & Mrs.  Jimmy (Rachel) Nolley, Mr. James  Nolley, Mr. & Mrs.  Robert (Stephanie) Nolley and Mr. & Mrs.  John Wayne (Pamela) Nolley, five grandchildren; Mr. Antwon Barr, Mr. Ricky Barr, Ms. Kimiyana Mitchell, Ms. Amber Jones and Ms. Lancilia Browning,  four great grandchildren; Grace, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Chloe, aunt, Ms. Buleah Kate Glover, five sisters-in-law; Ms. Ruby Lee Banks, Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Mildred) Dennis, Mrs. Arrie Steward, Mr. & Mrs. Othis (Mable) Gude and Mr. & Mrs. Pelman (Emma) Norman, a longtime childhood friend, Mrs. Emma Cole Jones,  a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Reflections

Ruby Lee was the oldest of thirteen children growing up sometimes having very little food to eat and having to work in cotton fields. She trusted and kept the faith in Jesus until the end. She enjoyed serving the Lord so much she would stay all day in church.
