Mrs. Rosie Lee Strange, age 94, of Covington passed away July 10. 2016.  She was born June 2, 1922 in Jersey, Georgia to her parents Ponder and Sarah McIntosh Lawhorn who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Strange worked for and retired from Pacific Uniform Company in Conyers. She was Methodist by faith and enjoyed working in her yard and gardening.  Mrs. Strange also enjoyed traveling and traveled often with her friends on AARP trips.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; J. W. H. Strange and her son; Robert W. Strange. 

Mrs. Strange is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Carolyn and David Ariail of Decatur her daughter-in-law; Peggy Strange of Thomaston along with six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and extended family.

Graveside services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Covington City Cemetery with Reverend Tim Walden and Reverend Barney Johnson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm Thursday prior to the funeral service.  J.C.
