       Mrs. Jeanette Howard was born June 1, 1939 in Newton County to Mrs. Eula Freeman and the late Mr. James Freeman.

        She was a loving and caring mother, daughter, also was a mother to all she met, not only family members, but strangers as well. She was a very humble and sweet person inside and out. She will always be remembered for her loving heart for others, she really loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. There are no words to express how much she will be missed. We hope to meet again one day in Heaven. Love you (Mom)!!

       She departed this life on January 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Grady Howard, her son, Mr. Calvin Howard, one brother, Mr. Nera Freeman and granddaughter, Ms. LaTanya  Howard.

        She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Ms. Telisa Howard, two sons, Mr. & Mrs. Gary (Gwenda) Howard, Mr. & Mrs. Michael (Marilyn) Howard, a loving mother, Mrs. Eula Freeman, four sisters, Ms. Marie  Hatten, Mr. & Mrs. David (Eula Mae) Mitchell, Mr. & Mrs. Marvin (Eunice) Banks and Ms. Virginia Freeman, three brothers, Mr. Richard Freeman, Mr. James Freeman and Mr. Benjamin Freeman, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and a special devoted family the Carter Family with love.
