Mrs. Frances Wander of Oxford, GA went home to Jesus while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday May 18, 2010 at Newton Medical Center. She was born on February 23, 1920 in Rosebud Community of Rockdale County, to the late Andrew MacDonald and Etta Mann Griffin. Mrs. Wander was a longtime member of North Covington United Methodist Church and attended The Church at Covington for many years. Mrs. Wander is survived by Daughters and Sons-in-law; Jeanette Turner of Oxford, Dorothy Jean and Danny Wyatt of Tifton, Shirley and Bruce Pachie of Middletown,California 6 Grandchildren; Gwen Wells, Dawn Malcolm, Donna White, Wanda Smith, Louie Pachie and Greg Pachie 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. She is preceded in death by Husband B. W. Wander and Grandson Jeff Singley. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Lawnwood Memorial Park with Pastor David Payne officiating.
