Mrs. Dolores U. Moody, 88 passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Abbey Hospice. She was born in Pablo, Colorado to the late Harold and Edith Usery. She is also preceded by her husband James Moody, and her brothers Bill Usery and Don Usery.

Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping, loved the beach, and was an avid Braves fan. But her passion was traveling. She visited all 48 of the continental states and Hawaii. She was a dedicated member of Harmony Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all her heart.

She is survived by her daughter Carla Mock of Social Circle; and grandchildren, Angela & (Chad) Dalton, Dusty Morgan; great- grandchildren Andrew Dalton, Jarrett Dalton, Sarah Dalton, JP Morgan; sister Georgia Baggett and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Moody were held Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Brant Calloway officiating.
