Mrs. Barbara E. (Benson) Autry age 71 of Oxford died Monday, September 21, 2009. She was born in San Diego, CA on August 24, 1938 to the late George and Barbara Benson. She loved her flower gardens and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel and loved going to Wal-mart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. Mrs. Autry is survived by her husband: Arthur Autry of Oxford; daughters and sons-in law: Linda and Ricky Helderbrand of Porterdale, Susan and Larry Mills of Oxford, Christy James of Oxford sons and daughters-in-law: Wendell and Tracy Autry of Oxford, David and Cindy Autry of Newborn; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, September 22, 2009 from 6-8PM. The funeral service for Mrs. Autry will be at 10:00AM, Thursday, September 24, 2009 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home. Rev. Barbara Baron and Rev. Garland Stone will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be: Christopher Helderbrand, Joshua Autry, Zachary Autry, Dustin James, Lee Autry, Cory Autry and Nicholas Bentley.
