Obituary
"To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven."  Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV

The seasonal earthly journey for Mr. W.C. White began on Monday, February 11, 1935 in Newton County, Georgia. He was born to the late Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Fannie Mae White.

His parents, two sisters, Ms. Nina Lois White, and Ms. Carrie Mae Stodghill, three brothers, Mr. Woodie White, Mr. Charlie Lee White and Mr. Willie Howard White and one granddaughter, Ms. Shannikia White preceded him in death.

W.C. known to many as *Dub* was a quiet, fun loving person who never met a stranger.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  This was especially evident in the way he faithfully and unselfishly cared for his ailing wife.  Not a person to sit idly by, he was employed with Snapping Shoals EMC for twenty-five years and the Newton County Board of Education for ten years.  Upon his second retirement, his most treasured past times were fishing, attending his great grandchildren*s ball games, and providing landscaping and transportation services to those in need.  The seasonal earthly journey for W.C. quietly came to completion on January 10, 2014.

He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy, his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Mrs. Mary Louise White, five children, Ms. Gail White, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Rhonda) White, Ms. Sarah White (James Kelly), Mr. John White, and Ms. Vickie White; ten grandchildren, Antquan, Sharrod, Takita, Ciji, Takiria, Keshay, Ronderrius, Jarrod, Jamya and Torie, eleven great-grandchildren, three brothers, Mr. Clifford White, Mr. Sports Ree White and Mr. Larry (Mattie) White, two sisters, Ms. Gracie Mae Saxon and Ms. Bonnie White, brothers and sisters in-law, Mrs. JoAnn White, Mr. and Mrs. Lester (Nadine) Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Annie) Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Sandra) Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Lynette) Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Sammie (Maxine) Driskell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

We praise and give thanks for his triumphant journey here on earth with us.  His legacy will forever live on in our hearts.
