Richard P. “Ricky” Heath, of Covington, passed away January 2, 2015, at the age of 52. Ricky enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming and woodworking. In addition, he loved carpentry and building things. Ricky was fun loving and well-liked. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Alice Heath; and brother, Kemp Heath.

Survivors include his sister, Wanda Allen of Covington; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry Heath of Covington, Donald and Sherry Heath of Monroe, Alan Heath of Lithonia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Heath will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, p.m., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 4, from 6 – 9 p.m.
