Glen Selin, 56, of Covington passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014. He was born September 16, 1957 in Hearst, Ontario, Canada to the late William and Edna Selin. Glen was a fun loving, hardworking man. He loved life and lived it to the fullest daily. Glen loved to travel and worked for USNR as a project manager where he traveled all over the world. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Covington and enjoyed helping throughout his community; building planter boxes in Porterdale and well houses for friends, he loved every minute of it. Mr. Selin was born and raised in Canada but immediately became a member of any community he was in. His zest for life, his ability to instantly connect with people, his love for his family and friends, these are the things people will remember of Glen forever.
Mr. Selin was preceded in death by his son Jason Bell and is survived by his wife Debi Selin, his son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Emma Bell of Victoria, British Columbia, his daughter Nicole Tinsley, of Duncan British Columbia, his brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Cheryl Selin of Ontario, Canada and numerous other family and a host of friends from around the world.
Memorial services for Glen will were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Covington with Reverend William B. Wade officiating J.C.
