Mr. Ed Niblett, age 62, of Conyers formerly of Covington passed away September 4, 2013 at his residence.  He was born November 2, 1950 in Covington to late Horace Tilman and Hester Johnson Niblett.  Mr. Niblett grew up in Covington and was a 1968 graduate of Newton County High School.  He worked for many years with the Food and Drug Administration and served his country in the United States Marine Corp.  Mr. Niblett was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading and watching movies. He is survived by his sister Chris Niblett of Dacula, his aunt and uncles; Arthur Niblett of McDonough and Ronald and Faye Johnson of Covington along with numerous other family and close friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Niblett will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Howeth, officiating. Inurnment of his ashes will be at Covington Mill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 6, 2013.  J.C.
