Obituary
Mr. Arthur Will Ponder was born February 5, 1958 in Rockdale County to Ms. Annie Lee Ponder and Mr. Johnny Will Prinup.
Arthur attended public school in Rockdale County. He was employed with Rockdale County Public Works for thirty years. He married Mrs. Patrice Sims on February 17, 2001, he loved trash talking, working on cars, riding motorcycles, having a good time and being a grandfather, that is a title that he wore proudly. He was a hard working man, a wonderful father and devoted husband. He never met a stranger.
On Saturday, August 23, 2014 his earthly life ended. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Mrs. Anna Reed Ponder.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Mrs. Patrice Ponder, children, Mr. & Mrs. Travis (Connie) Ponder, Mr. & Mrs. Shannon (Tosha) Warren, Ms. Kimberly Benton, Mr. & Mrs. Brandon (Celita) Roberson, Ms. India Ponder and Mr. Andrew Jones, mother, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Annie Lee Ponder) Preston, father, Mr. Johnny Will Prinup, five grandchildren, Tyrique Warren, Janasia Ponder, Jurnie Ponder, Sariah & Kaleb Ponder, godfather, Mr. Lewis (Bubba) Benford, a host of sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, special friends, Mr. Roosevelt Gilbert Sr., and Ms. Betty Ann Smith, other relatives and friends.
