Mr. Allen Lee “Dink” Moore, Jr., age 78 of Conyers, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Bragg Moore; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Susie Moore, all of Conyers, Marty and Ann Moore, Greensboro; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Kristopher Campbell, Loganville; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, David and Brenda Moore, Athens, AL; sister-in-law, Ginger Doster, Covington; multiple nieces and nephews; and special friends Larry and Sandra Hammett and family, Dahlonega. Mr. Moore graduated from Stone Mountain High School in 1954 and was a DeKalb County Police Officer. After 35 years of law enforcement experience he retired as Chief of the GA Department of Corrections, South DeKalb Office. He was a member of Haven Fellowship Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Dr. Steve Powers officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the GA Sheriffs’ Youth Homes Foundation, Inc. P.O.
