Mary Frances Arnold, 84, of Covington, passed away March 12. Mrs. Arnold was born in Columbus in 1926 and was married for 64 years. She is survived by her husband, Billy Arnold, daughters and sons-in-law Marcia and Larry Queen of Covington, Lori and Ted Stringfellow of Buckley, Wash., and Lisa and Scott Jones of Adairsville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law JoAnn and Charles Porter of Acworth; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Bobbie Miles of Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Meagan Bailey. The family will receive visitors at noon March 18 at Eastridge Community Church, 863 Highway 142 E., Covington, and a memorial service will take place at the church at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or Mission 25, 1150 Monticello St., Covington.
