Marshalene Cromer Love, of Covington, died Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Piedmont Hospital. She was born June 1, 1937, in Royston, Ga., to Jim and Gertrude Cromer.

She was a member of Covington Mills Methodist Church.

Mrs. Love is survived by her daughter, Judy Williams of Loganville, Ga.; sons, Jim Brown of Panama City, Fla., and Scott Brown of McDonough, Ga.; sister, Ann Dudley of Ila, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Gertrude Cromer.

Services were held at 4 p.m. Jan. 11 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Valerie Harvard officiating. Interment was at Lawnwood Memorial Park.

The family received friends at the funeral home from 1-4 p.m. Jan. 11.
