Marian Potts of Covington, died March 14, 2011, at Abbey Hospice at the age of 75.  Daughter of the late Robert M. and Mary Burnham Potts, she enjoyed traveling and said that her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews were her grandchildren.  Miss Potts is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Potts, and brothers, Bob and Reggie Potts.

 

Miss Potts is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Fay Potts of Covington, Iris and Floyd Moore, Marcia Potts Slocumb, Alice and Charles Harper, all of Monticello; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Melba Potts of Covington; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Services for Miss Potts was held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating and interment following in Hopewell Church Cemetery in Covington.  Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park Drive, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA  30329.
