Mrs. Linda Ann Baldwin walker died March 20 at Emory University Hospital. The daughter of the late William Babe Baldwin and Exonia Baldwin Whitlock, she was born in 1950 in Walton County, the fourth of 13 children. She was preceded in death by sister Annie Louise and five brothers - Robert, Donald, Kenneth, Dwight and McArthur, and "second mom" Mrs. Alberta Easley. She was a graduate of Carver High School and at an early age joined Tabernacle Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Later she joined Williams Memorial A.O.H. Church, becoming an active member. In 1979 she married Bobby Walker and they were blessed with four children whom she adored. She also raised two other children as her own: her newphey Linton "Bim" Walker Jr. and her granddaughter Elise King. An excellent homemaker, Mrs. Walker loved to cook and feed people. She also loved preparing meals for her church family. She dedicated her adult live to taking care of her children. Mrs. Walker possessed a very loving, caring and generous spirit.
Surviving are husband Bobby Walker; children Marcus "Shawn' Walker and Miranda, Ioukisha "Kisha" Walker, Bobby "BJ" Walker Jr. and Tammy, Antonio "Undrell" Walker and Mary; grandchildren Elise, Salonta, Jamarcus, Jamaria, Tiera, Shantavia, Trevon, Ariana, Tamyra, My'Era; siblings Wellington (June) Baldwin, Larry Baldwin Sr., Brenda Baldwin, Delores Baldwin, Sheryl (Jayce) Brown, Melissa Baldwin; a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews; special friends mary Nell Stanley, Jeannie Walker, Patsy Meadows, Delores Lynch Gotel, Connie Horton; other loving relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. March 25 at at All Nations Life and Praise Church, Stockbridge, with Pastor Keith D. Brooks and Minister Marcia Stokes presiding. Interment followed at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
