Mrs. Joyce Ann Morton, 82, of Covington, died Aug. 28. She enjoyed traveling, being outdoors tending her flowers and shopping. She retired from Lithonia Lighting after 31 years of service and was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Morton loved her family and the many friends she came to know through her job and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. "Tony" Morton Jr. and her parents, Grover Cleveland and Mureen Jane Young.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Jimmy Cronan, of Covington; grandchildren, Scott and Maree Cronan, of Covington, Keith Cronan, of Covington, Angie and Joe Tkacsik, of Oxford; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Gary Ellis, of Covington, Freida and Jimmy Pitts, of Covington; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Morton will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6154 Collins St. NW, in Covington with the Rev. Valorie Harvard officiating. Visit www.caldwellandcowan.com to place online condolences.
