Joy Pauline Faulk Knight, age 90, of Covington, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Riverside Healthcare in Covington.

Joy Knight was born in Houston, Texas, to the late David Caldwell Faulk and Mildred Elizabeth Stewart Faulk.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Douglas Knight; grandchildren, Darrell Harper and Cathy Harper; and sister, Lottie Midyette.

Joy lived in Decatur and Lithonia for a number of years before moving to Covington 20 years ago.  She attended the First Presbyterian Church and the Senior Center in Covington.  She was a former aerobics instructor, enjoyed crocheting, and rode bicycles until the age of sixty.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Harper of Macon, Connie Luke of Porterdale and Judy (Gerald) Mize of Monticello; grandchildren, John Bozett, Robert Bozett, Angie Edwards, Doug Luke, Jenny Hall and Beth Mason; seventeen great grandchildren; and ten great, great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home 264 Hillsboro St., Monticello, Georgia.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, at Jordan Funeral Home.
