Joel A. Harris, 66, a resident of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, Oct. 30 after a long illness.

Survivors are his wife Patricia A. Harris, five children, numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a sister and brother-in-law.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Alcovy United Methodist Church in Covington. The Rev. Teresa Cilja will officiate.

Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
