Mr. Jimmy K. Thomas of Covington died March 26 at Newton Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 20, 1953 in Bradford, Pa. to Harry and Shirley Alice Williamson Thomas.

He was a member of Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge #6 of Covington. He enjoyed NASCAR, and Dale Earnhardt Sr. was his favorite driver.

He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and playing softball.

Mr. Thomas is survived by son and daughter-in-law Keith and Tara Thomas of Malta, N.Y.; father Harry Thomas of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Wanda Thomas of Covington; and his aunt Judy Thomas of Bradford, Pa.
He is preceded in death by his mother Shirley Thomas.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow, March 30, at the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Dudley Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, March 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
