Jessie Mae Wise was born Sept. 2, 1961, to the late Mr. Jim Henry Wise, Sr. and Mrs. Augusta Mae Wise. She departed this earthly life at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers on Nov. 15, 2017, after battling seven long years of cancer.

She leaves a loving legacy upon the lives of those she touched and leaves behind, her children, Michael (Latasha) Wise, Antonio Howard, Angela Howard, Otis Smith and Monica Wise; nine grandchildren, Quantavious Gibbs, Amaire Reid, Michael Wise, Jr., Marquise Wise, Christian Wise, Johnny Verdell, Elijah Womack, Cierra Howard, Derrick Hardin; loving mother, Augusta Wise, sisters, Christine Malone, Carolyn Wise and Joanne Whitlock; three brothers, Jim (Linda) Wise, Jr.,  David (Edith) Wise and Walter Wise; seven nieces; three nephews; one niece-in-law; one nephew-in-law; 11 great-nieces; six great-nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at Concord Primitive Baptist Church, at 170 Concord Church Road, in Monticello with Rev. L.H.G. Terry and Rev. Wayne Bryant officiating.
