Jay Sharpshair of Covington, passed away December 19, 2009, at the age of 46. As the owner of Jay’s Recycling, he loved his business, and had been in the recycling business for over 25 years. He enjoyed drag racing, reading books, and collecting National Geographic magazines. Survivors include his mother, Janet L. Adams of Mt. Healthy, OH; father and step-mother, Jack and Sara Sharpshair of Paris, KY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jill L. and Matthew Gilfillen of Troy, OH, Teresa L. and Paul Bacon of Watkinsville, GA, Joy L. and Ron Maxey of Statham, GA, Joni L. and Dale Towe of Watkinsville, GA; 7 nieces and nephews; and 2 great-nephews. Funeral Services for Jay will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2009, 11 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., in Covington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, December 22, from 5-8 PM.
