Janice Fleming of Covington, passed away at home August 10, 2010, at the age of 65. Mrs. Fleming was a member of Victory Baptist Church, in Loganville, where she loved singing in the choir. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, watching TV, going out for dinner, and traveling to the beach. She cherished her private time reading her Bible and teaching Sunday School. Mrs. Fleming was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Fleming; and her parents, Vardaman “Jody” and Mary Nell (Parker) Garner. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Ronda and Scott Ellis of Covington, Holly Fleming of Loganville, Jana Fleming of Monroe; granddaughter, Erin and Mark Still of Loganville; great-granddaughters, Macee and Haylee Still of Loganville; sister, Jean Holder of Madison; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frankie and Betty Garner, James and Brenda Garner, all of Covington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Fleming will be held Friday, August 13, 2010, 2:00 PM, at Victory Baptist Church, 88 Brand Rd., in Loganville, with Pastor Derik Lawrence and Rev. Tom Harris officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Thursday, August 12, from 5-9 PM.
