James Marvin Manry, 68, of Cumming, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Edison he was the son of the late Gordon and Lucille Manry. His brother, Gordon Manry, Jr., also predeceased him.

Jim was an active member of North Lanier Baptist Church. He was a member of the On A Journey or “On a Gurney” Sunday School Class and was on the church counting committee. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather “Pak Pak” who will be greatly missed by his family.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Marteal Manry of Cumming (formerly of Covington); daughters, Joy (Mark) Stevens of Snellville and Jennifer (Luis) Medina of Cumming; and much loved grandchildren, Lexi and Mitchell Stevens and Isabel and Scarlett Medina; and a loving extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at North Lanier Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29 from 6–8 p.m. at the funeral home.
