Harry Dillon McEver of Covington, GA died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Newton Medical Center. He was born on April 13, 1947 in Decatur, GA to Hillyer Monroe and Carrie Lee Tolbert McEver. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. McEver is survived by daughters Tracy Kehren of Covington, GA, Brenna Roper of Franklin, NC.; step-son Jeff Parker; grandsons Reece Kehren, Ethen Roper, Ty Roper; sisters: Martha Vandergriff of Covington, GA and Francis Flanagan of Lilburn, GA . He is preceded in death by his father: Hillyer Monroe McEver and mother: Carrie Lee Tolbert McEver. Services will be held on Monday at 1:00PM on January 11, 2010 at Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Lee officiating. Interment will be at RestHaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
