Glenn R. Conley died June 12, 2016 of complications from an auto accident several years ago.

Glenn was born in Akron, Ohio on October 11, 1931 to Gathel B. and Abraham W. Conley.

Glenn founded Sexions Tires in Covington 28 years ago and enjoyed the challenges of designing and implementing his patented process. He also had a bachelor’s degree in Education.

Glenn was proud of his service in the Navy in the North Atlantic and the Marine Corps in Korea.

He is survived by his wife J. Eileen Conley; brother and sister-in-law Ernest C. and Marilyn Conley; sister Auderey Storto; daughters Holly Conley, Alisa Michael and Kathy Jeffers; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Fix (Barbara) and Gary Fix (Anne); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friend and manager of his business, Benito Saenz and family.

Glenn enjoyed fishing and sharing special time with his wife, good friends and pets. He was a dear friend and mentor to many.

Glenn was cremated at Covington Crematory followed by a funeral Mass, June 15, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Roberto A. Orellana, pastor. Burial will be at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers at a future date. Online condolences may be made at www.covingtoncrematory.com.
