Francis “Frank” Hustek, Jr., 43 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016, at his home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Peggy Hustek. Frank was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle. He graduated from Crestwood High School. Frank was the owner and president of Amateur Poker League Southeast where he ran tournaments in the state of Georgia for the WPT League. He attended Embry Riddle in Daytona Beach, Florida and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS SAIPAN during the Desert Storm War. Frank had a great sense of humor, was very personable, and was the kindest person you would ever want to meet. He was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Stacy Hustek of Monticello, parents Frank and Peggy Hustek; father-in-law Jean Claude Deschenes; sister and brother-in-law Stacey and Bob Gabriel; uncle Jay Hustek; and nephews Bobby and Bradley Gabriel.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Tanner Cline officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
