Flora Bennett of Covington, died September 8, 2009, at the age of 76. Mrs. Bennett loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Clarence Bennett, Sr., and parents, Troy Oliver and Lana Mae Mann Rutledge. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Robert Webb of Covington, Judy Dick of Conyers, Benita Mann of Covington; son, Walter C. Bennett, Jr., of Augusta; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters.
