Flora Mae (Nanny) Reid of Covington, 87, of Covington, died Nov. 23. She was a member of The Baptist Tabernacle for 34 years, where she served in the WMU. Mrs. Reid was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband George Thomas Reid; parents Clifford and Lena Mary Day Brewer, daughter Geneva Davis and sons Tom Reid, Terry Reid and Allen Reid.

Surviving are daughters Barbara Pittman, Shirley Sharpton, Sandra Reid, all of Covington; sons Billy Reid of Covington, Jerry Reid of Porterdale, Daniel Reid, Ronnie (Raymond) Reid, Ricky Reid, all of Monroe; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Baptist Tabernacle with Dr. R. Hudson Moody and Dr. David Moody officiating. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
