Ms. Eula Lee Brooks was born on Dec. 21, 1939, in Jasper County to the late Jim (Janie) Brooks.

She attended Peeks Chapel and JP Carr Schools. At a very early age she joined First Shady Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening and attending to all her beautiful flowers. 

She is preceded in death by daughter, Linda Jackson siblings, Mable Dennis, Hulon Brooks, Lenson Brooks, Mary Height, James Brooks, Elizabeth Floyd, Allene Bradley.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Eugene (Eula) Bryant, Willie Dyer, Robert (Helen) Turk, Ellen Dyer, Donald (Lynetta) Dyer, Ronald (Shelia) Dyer; 27 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; special devoted friend, Willie Lake, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, at 2105 Old Covington Road, in Conyers, with the Rev. J. Phillip Baker officiating.
