Essie Mae Linch of Jackson, passed away February 16, 2012, at the age of 99. Mrs. Linch was a resident of the High Falls community for more than 40 years; and a faithful member of Paran Baptist Church, in Forsyth. She enjoyed flower gardening. She loved her family dearly; and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Mrs. Linch was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Horace Linch; parents, James Henry and Annie Victoria (Moore) Wise; and her siblings.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Paul Harris of Thomaston; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Ann Linch of Fayetteville; grandchildren, David and Nancy Linch, Mike and Anne Linch, Donna and Steve Abrams, Jason and Merry Marbutt, Justin and Donna Marbutt; 10 great-grandchildren.Funeral Services for Mrs. Linch will be held Sunday, February 19, 2012, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Linch officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, one hour prior to the service, from 3:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paran Baptist Church, 5691 Highway 42 N., Forsyth, GA 31029.
