Doris Treadwell Hart, 95, of Signal Mountain, Tenn., formerly of Social Circle, passed away peacefully June 22. She was preceded in death by her husband Leason C. Hart and her son Cal Hart. Mrs. Hart truly loved life, and her greatest joy came from serving God and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter Doris Hart Phillips of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; daughter-in-law Linda C. Hart of Social Circle; grandchildren Will Phillips of Carrollton, Anne Hart of Atlanta, Ben and Audrey Phillips of Nashville, Tenn., Karen Hart of Covington; great grandchildren William, Skyla and Ella Phillips; sister-in-law Rheba H. Oglesbee of Social Circle; and brother-in-law Elmer Sloan of Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 25, at Social Circle United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. Interment will be at Social Circle City Cemetery.
