Doris Salmon, 54, passed away peacefully at home with her family around her, on Friday, September 9, 2016. She was born in Chicago to the late Alan and Sharon Frantz. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to everyone she knew. She was a Navy wife of 30 years with her loving husband. Doris enjoyed nature and all types of wildlife. She loved decorating with flowers especially daises, tulips and roses, and working word search puzzles. She enjoyed music of all kinds, but mostly with her daughter and the marching band served as their band mom, and was very active in the band community. Doris spent a great amount of her time with her grandchildren that she adored with all her heart and she enjoyed spoiling her husband John.

Doris is survived by her loving husband John Salmon; her daughter and son in law, Taren and Matt Purdon; daughter, Gabby Salmon; son, Brian; grandchildren Hayden, Tyler, Hunter, Blake; brother, Wayne and sisters, Kimberly and Janet.
