Obituary
We celebrate the life of Mr. Albert Bruce Bolden, Sr. known by many as Dea. Bolden (AB). He was born March 12, 1929 in Walton County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Tommie and Mrs. Lula Bolden. Three brothers, Raymond, William, (WG) and Robert, one sister, Lizzie preceded him in death.
He received his education in the Walton County School System. After joining Corinth Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, he became a Deacon, where he served actively. He was also Sunday School Superintendent for over 40 years and a member of the Male Chorus and Gospel Choir.
In 1949, he married his belated wife, Ms. Betty Simon and to this union eight children were born.
He was a hard worker, employed by several companies, where he retired from Standridge Color Corporation.
Deacon Bolden was a Master Gardner in his own way. He loved his garden and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Mrs. Christine J. Bolden, eight children, sons, Mr. Albert B. Bolden, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Randy (Francine) Bolden, Pastor & Mrs. Richard (Jacquelyn) Bolden, daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Lula) Asberry, Mr. & Mrs. Osie (Signora) Jackson, Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Annette) Hunter, Mr. & Mrs. Xavier (Eleese) McKnight and Ms. Vicky Bolden, seven step children, step-sons, Mr. & Mrs. Larry Lewis Johnson, Mr. Larry Johnson, Mr. Kenny Johnson, step-daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Wayne (Dot) Callaway, Mrs. Mary Webb, Ms. Gloria Johnson and Ms. Lisa Johnson, eight sisters-in-law and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Interment: Bennie Hill Cemetery Social Circle, Georgia
