David Henry Coberth

Mr. David Henry Coberth, 68, of Covington, died April 4, at Newton Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 14, 1944 in Fall River, Mass., to George Horace and Elizabeth Himelspagh Coberth, both of whom preceded him in death.

Mr. Coberth was a 1962 graduate of The Marist School and a 1966 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in industrial management.

Following graduation, he was a lieutenant in the United States Army.

Mr. Coberth is survived by his wife Mrs. Sandra Thornton Coberth, of Covington; son Henry Coberth and wife Cindy, of Covington; daughters Caroline Maynor and husband Tonka of Atlanta, and Alli Coberth, of Covington; along with grandchildren Anne Dawson, Lila Coberth, Taylor and Cameron Maynor.

A memorial service will be held 2 tomorrow, April 8, at the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Mr. Joel Singleton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. before the service.
