Mrs. Clara Kines Sorrow, 94, of Covington, died Feb. 4. The daughter of Rosa Young Kines and Albert Dean Kines, she was born in Walton County in 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband Solomon B. Sorrow and grandchildren Lywanda and Steven.

Surviving are daughter Juanita Sorrow of Oxford; sons and daughters-in-law Charles Sorrow of Cochran, Ervin and Mary Sorrow of Covington, James and Linda Sorrow of Covington, Billy and Brenda Sorrow of Oxford, Phillip and Janice Sorrow of Oxford; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Feb. 6, at Jersey Holiness Church with the Rev. Randell Allgood officiating. Interment followed at Jersey Holiness Church Cemetery.
