 Charles F. (Chuck) Adamson, of Conyers, died October 17, 2008, at Rockdale Medical Center, at the age of 73. Son of the late William Otis, Sr. and Anna Lois Jones Adamsom, he was a U. S. Navy veteran and a retired service technician from Southern Bell. Mr. Adamson was the seventh child, of the seventh child, of the seventh child, and each of his names had seven letters. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Post #5290 in Conyers, Christian Motorcyclist Association (Grace Riders), XYZ Senior Group, and AARP of Covington.

 Survivors include his wife, Emmie Field Adamson of Conyers; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea (Cissy) and Mike Benton of Newborn, sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Laura Adamson of Conyers, Donnie and Lori Adamson of Mansfield; stepson, Jimmy Rider of Huntsville, NC, stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Tammie and Greg Dooley of Conyers; grandchildren, Samuel, Matthew, and Daniel Benton, Lacy Adamson, Wesley and Rachel Dooley, Cameron, Ansley and Emily Rider; many nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services for Mr. Adamson will be held at 3 p.m. today, Oct. 19 at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Ronny Brannen and Rev. Larry Schaeffer officiating with interment following in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Prospect United Methodist Church or designated for Run for the Son Christian Motorcyclists Association.
