Braden Stevenson, of Covington, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at the age of 12. Vibrant and full of life, Braden had beautiful blue eyes and an infectious smile. His funny demeanor, larger than life personality, and love of dancing - especially “flossing” – naturally made him the center of attention. Braden made friends easily, and it was his caring demeanor and support for others in need that endeared him to all. He was adventurous, enjoyed being outside, loved animals and was a collector of many things. Braden’s favorite TV show was Green Arrow. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joe Beard, and John Woodlee.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Nicole and Scooter Beard of Mansfield, father, Cory and Kesha Stevenson of Covington; sisters and brother-in-law, Amberly Beard, Annie Beard, Kassidy and Matthew Stanley; brothers, Trevor Stevenson, Tristan Stevenson, Cole Stevenson, Dylan Stevenson, Hunter Caldwell; grandparents, Ruth Hockenberry, Paul Stevenson, Joanie and Doug Echols, Diana Beard, Pennie and Robert Richter; great-grandparents, Grace Stevenson, Roy and Daisy Love, Kathleen Lynch, Frank and Nancy Beard, Jerome and Betty Ledford; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Service for Braden was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at Gaithers United Methodist Church, 1375 Newton Factory Bridge Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating.
