Mrs. Beulah Mae Johnson was born April 1, 1925 to Miss Vada Johnson and Mr. Burner in Jasper County.

She was employed at Jack Maddox Laundry for many years. She met and married Grady Lisby. One child was born and died at 1-month-old.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lisby; grandson, Richard Stroud; mother, Vada Johnson; step-father, Dan Tyler; three brothers, James Tyler, Willie Tyler and Leroy Tyler; sister, Mrs. Marie T. Cater.  

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Mrs. Frances Stroud; one brother, Mr. Aaron Tyler, Jr.; one grandson, Robert Smith; four great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2177 Usher St., Covington, with the Rev. Ronnie M. Thomas, Jr. and the Rev. Hezekiah Benton officiating. Interment followed at New Covington Cemetery.
