Mrs. Barbara Watson, age 80, a longtime resident of Conyers moving there from Atlanta died March 28, 2009. She was born in North Carolina on July 20, 1928 to the late William Ollie and Lila Conrad Hartis. Mrs. Watson and her husband owned and operated R.C. Smith Printing Company for 35 years in Conyers. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and an avid bingo player. Her husband of over 50 years Mr. Cecil Watson and their children; Mike Watson, Phoenix AR Sandra Watkins, Covington Debbie Andrews, Conyers Doug Watson, Lilburn and Greg Watson, Marietta survives Mrs. Watson. One sister Peggy Fishman, Louisville, KY and three grandchildren, also survives her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Watson will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from Salem United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Kanipe officiating, interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens.
