An argument between two women turned physical Monday night when one woman smacked the other's false teeth out.
Annette Aikens was staying at a home on Emory Street with an acquaintance when that man's daughter, Sherry Hill-Devoe, came to the home to get a check. During that time the women got into an argument which is when Hill-Devoe slapped Aiken's false teeth out of her mouth.
Officers from the Covington Police Department went to Hill-Devoe's home on Lee Street, but when they spoke with her she denied any altercation happened, according to reports.
Police had been called to the same addresses within an hour once before that night and had ordered the women to stay away from one another. Because of this, Hill-Devoe was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. While she was being arrested, her father, Willie R. Lattimore became "verbally aggressive" towards officers. He reportedly admitted that he and Aikens had been drinking "a pretty good bit." He was arrested and charged with public drunk.
Officers returned to the Emory Street address and arrested Aikens for disorderly conduct as well. All three were transported to the Newton County Detention Center.
