The Newton County landfill has been a hot topic in the county and with the board of commissioners.

Chair Keith Ellis asked County Engineer Aaron Wadley about some of the issues currently at the landfill.

The landfill, and other trash issues, will be discussed at a work session tonight at 6:30 at the Newton County Historic Courthouse.
