Jackson Ramsey this week returned to Salem Campmeeting for the first time since he was 4 years old. Now that's he's here, he hopes to come back.

Ramsey, 20, is a vocal performance major at Loyola University in New Orleans, but he played the violin during the "Big Sunday" service, the main religious service at Salem.

"My dad was going, and I just wanted to get reconnected with my roots, so I tagged along," he said. "I definitely want to come back."

Ramsey is the son of Bill Ramsey and grandson of George William Ramsey Jr.
